Katy Sosnak is a blogger, photographer, home cook and baker who loves to travel and eat her way through the world.  On her blog, Dining with Dostoevsky (http://www.diningwithdusty.blogspot.com),  which she began when she was completing her dissertation in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of California, Berkeley, she documents both her experiments in the kitchen and her travels to Greece, Turkey and throughout the United States.

 

She also uses her blog to write about the books she is reading, from contemporary and classic fiction to books about food, and to explore ideas about writing and cooking in our fast-paced and modern world. She has been featured in both the now defunct Diner’s Journal of The New York Times and Public Radio Kitchen. You can also find her work on food photography websites like Tastespotting and Foodgawker, as well as on the jam blog, Jam Experiments (www.jam-experiments.com), where she interviews jam makers, reviews products and performs her own jam experiments.
