Raising of the sun

Ladies

Whose eyes are flowerbed,

Whose skirts are fair market

Whose joys are packed

The morning was for you.

It was for you, children

Whose sleep is shaken untimely,

Whose feet are corny,

Whose pockets are full of colorful dreams

Children, running the streets.

Workers

Who are the first to pres the buttons

Who are the last to close the doors

The shifting gardians of the machines

Early starters to the day,

The morning was for you.

It was for you,

Light sellers

Street sweepers

Grave diggers

It was your blood

in the vein of the world

You would be burried into every single night

with your hopes,

Mornings would blossom you.
